Connect Odoo’s existing SMS workflow to your Netgsm account, with company-specific credentials and sender headers, Turkish character support and per-recipient submission results.
What it adds to your workflow
- Send through Netgsm from the standard Odoo SMS queue using SMS actions supplied by your installed applications.
- Configure separate Netgsm credentials, an approved sender header and the appropriate IYS filter for each company.
- Validate phone numbers before submission, normalize Turkish local numbers and handle explicit international prefixes.
- Split batch requests into groups of up to 1,000 recipients and review individual submission results and actionable provider errors in Odoo.
Installation and compatibility
- Use the package matching Odoo 17, 18, 19 or 20 with the standard Odoo SMS framework.
- Install on Odoo.sh or self-hosted Odoo accepting custom Python addons; Odoo Online is not supported.
- A Netgsm account, API access, approved sender header and SMS balance are required. Netgsm message charges are separate from the module purchase.
Scope notes
- A successful API response means Netgsm accepted the submission, not final delivery to the handset. Delivery report synchronization and delivery callbacks are not included.
- It does not add a campaign builder, inbound SMS inbox or consent management. The selected IYS filter is passed with the submission request.
- A legacy installation under another technical name requires the migration guide and support. Do not uninstall the old addon or install both names together.
Common questions
Are SMS message charges included?
No. The module license is separate. A Netgsm account, API access, approved sender header and SMS credit are required.
Does a successful result confirm delivery to the phone?
No. It confirms API submission acceptance. Check final delivery in the Netgsm panel; the module does not automatically synchronize delivery reports.
Can companies use different sender headers?
Yes. Netgsm credentials, the approved sender header and IYS filter can be configured separately for each Odoo company.
The configuration screen shows demo credentials in Odoo 17. Cover and workflow artwork are illustrative; the selected Odoo version may look different.
Payment and delivery
Prices are shown in EUR; taxes are calculated on the order. At PayTR checkout, the amount is converted to TRY using the Odoo exchange rate and fixed for that payment.
